As a member of our Orbital Systems team in Munich, you will own the MBSE and requirements backbone of our programmes — from capturing mission needs through to verification and traceability. You will also be the person who keeps us consistent. In our team every engineer works with requirements in Flow and applies the Arcadia method in Capella; you will make that real by setting the standards, enabling colleagues, and keeping our tools and frameworks aligned.
Your role will include:
Model our systems and subsystems in Capella using the Arcadia method, and mature our modelling methodology
Own requirements engineering in Flow across performance, functional, interface, environmental, structural, reliability and safety domains
Author ECSS-aligned "shall" requirements and maintain full traceability from mission needs to verification
Define, organise and conduct requirements and MBSE modelling gates
Educate and enable the team, ensuring everyone can work in Flow and apply Arcadia in Capella
Set and safeguard tool standards, conventions and configuration for consistent work across the department
Define and maintain interfaces and ICDs across internal domains and external partners
Own the V&V logic: verification methods, control documents and close-out
Support programme reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR-class) and integration/verification activities
Your profile
2+ years in MBSE and requirements engineering, with 3+ years overall experience
Hands-on modelling in Capella using the Arcadia method
Strong requirements-engineering practice in Flow (or comparable, e.g. DOORS, Jama)
Working knowledge of ECSS systems-engineering and verification standards
Sound understanding of interface management and ICDs
Able to teach, align and set standards — and hold the team to them
Passion for creating a new spaceflight paradigm (space logistics & orbital refuelling)
Full professional proficiency in English
Nice to have:
Familiarity with propulsion or fluidic systems
Full V-model lifecycle experience including AIT
German language skills
We're equally interested in more senior profiles (5+ years in systems engineering) and will level the role and compensation accordingly.
We offer
Immediate and flexible start
Permanent full-time position (40 h/week)
Attractive salary
30 days annual vacation and flexible working hours
Bike leasing, Jobticket and EGYM Wellpass
Complimentary beverages, company events, and professional development opportunities
About us
We are deltaVision GmbH – a young, ambitious high-tech company based in Munich, driving the future of in-space mobility and infrastructure.
Since our founding in 2022, we have been developing, manufacturing, and qualifying advanced fluid control systems for the aerospace industry and H₂ aviation. Our expertise spans cryogenic and high-pressure propulsion systems as well as next-generation orbital refueling technologies, including couplers and fully integrated refueling systems designed for the harsh environment of space.
With our deep knowledge of fluid control for space systems, we are shaping the space economy towards refuelable and reusable spacecraft. We enable longer mission lifetimes, greater operational flexibility, and entirely new architectures for sustainable space operations.
What sets us apart?
Innovative products enabling next-generation space infrastructure
Exceptional cost efficiency through optimized design and manufacturing
Rapid development and delivery cycles beyond traditional industry standards
We are rethinking spaceflight — enabling a future where spacecraft are not disposable, but reusable, refuelable, and built to operate sustainably in orbit.
